Wormley Community Centre 

Wormley Community Centre is a bright, spacious multi-roomed venue in the heart of Wormley. Our event space is ideal for parties, wedding receptions, conferences, leisure classes and live performances. With a licensed bar, supporting foyer, an overhead projector, enclosed courtyard and free parking we are able to welcome all kinds of celebrations.  

We also have the newly created studio; a bright and airy space perfect for smaller classes such as yoga or art as well as meetings using our conferencing equipment with wifi connectivity. 

So for any event from a large cheesy disco to a small occasional meeting  come and have a look and we will help you organise your event.

The Hall

One of the largest halls to hire in the Broxbourne, our hall can be used for any occasion. Children’s parties, AGMs , fashion shows and sports events are all welcome to hire The Hall.

We welcome religious festivals, weddings and family celebrations as well as group activities, dance performances and drill practise.

There is a stage, a ceiling mounted projector, decorative fairy lights for ambient lighting and if you need it, a disco mirror ball!

Our licensed bar is available, as is the kitchen, foyer and also our new studio which links to the hall – perfect as an additional room for serving food or as a dressing room for performances. 

Outside is our enclosed courtyard, approximately 17m long with flowering jasmine climbers providing a beautiful background for outside events.

Bar Service

We have a fully licenced bar which can be opened for your event with a £200 minimum spend.

Only alcohol supplied by the licensee is allowed to be consumed on the premises.

Nothing was too much trouble!

“My husband and I had our wedding reception at Wormley Community Centre in July 21. We had to change the date 5 times over 2 years due to Covid 19. The Community Centre team went above and beyond supporting us throughout these changes. They always kept in touch and were quick to respond back to my emails. Nothing was too much trouble! The Caretaker who also worked behind the bar was also fantastic, helping my daughter and my mum to set up the hall on the day. We feel that the Team made us and our family feel so welcome and we cannot thank them enough for making our day so special.
