This became the current hub and was quickly refurbished to provide an office for the paid staff, a kitchen and three other meeting rooms where various activities can take place.
The move to the new hub has enabled WTBL to grow in many directions. Some of the groups that meet or operate from there are run by Partnership members or other volunteers and the space is also used to host various services that benefit the community.

When more space is needed, the Community Centre is used for events like The Big Lunch, Christmas parties, fun runs and activities for young people. Other WTBL projects that take place elsewhere include the Pop-up Cinema, music sessions, health support groups and the community allotment.
For many years Wormley Community Centre has faced an uncertain future and WTBL has continually expressed an interest in buying the building or taking over the management on behalf of the community if the opportunity arose.
WTBL has finally achieved that aim and managed to negotiate a 999-year lease on the building. This guarantees the future of the centre and ensures that the local community will play a key role in how it operates. It will become a vibrant, multi-purpose venue for the benefit of everyone.
